Envicore Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 72 691 982 760) (“Envicore”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to this website (envicore.com.au) and to the way we deal with enquiries, clients and suppliers.

Who we are

Envicore is an environmental, hazardous materials, waste, geotechnical and pipeline consultancy based in The Ponds NSW 2769, serving Sydney and NSW. You can contact us on (02) 9188 0852 or at info@envicore.com.au.

What information we collect

• Enquiry details – your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message when you use our contact form, email or call us.
• Project information – site addresses, site contacts, access details, plans and reports you give us so we can quote and deliver our services.
• Business details – company name, ABN, billing contact and invoicing details for clients and suppliers.
• Website data – technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit, collected by our web server and security tools.
• Job applications – a CV and contact details if you apply to work with us.

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our work. You can contact us anonymously or under a pseudonym for general questions, but we will need your details to quote or carry out work.

How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals.
• To plan, carry out and report on assessments, inspections, sampling and other services.
• To meet regulatory, work health and safety, and record-keeping obligations.
• To invoice and manage our client and supplier accounts.
• To keep our website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We may share personal information only where needed with:

• NATA-accredited laboratories and specialist subcontractors working on your project;
• regulators and authorities (for example SafeWork NSW or the NSW EPA) where the law requires it;
• our IT, website hosting, email and accounting providers;
• our professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers and lawyers.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside Australia. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information in a way consistent with the APPs.

Cookies and third-party content

Our website uses only essential cookies needed for it to work and for site administration. Our contact page includes an embedded Google Map. When you view it, Google may collect information and set cookies under its own privacy policy. Links to our LinkedIn and Google Business Profile pages are covered by those companies’ privacy policies. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.

How we store and protect it

We store information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to staff who need it. We keep project records for as long as required by law and professional standards (generally at least 7 years), and securely destroy or de-identify information we no longer need.

Access and correction

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it. Email info@envicore.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
